Biography
A supermodel with the savvy to create her own empire, Heidi Klum hit gold with a perfect amalgam of high fashion and reality TV. Born in Germany, Klum began modeling when she was just a teenager, after submitting photos to a German modeling agency on a whim. She toured Europe as a model, eventually coming to the United States, where she found even greater success -- cemented by her posing for the coveted cover of Sports Illustrated in 1998. Klum became a spokesmodel for Victoria's Secret, and also began taking some small roles in films, like 2000's Blow Dry. In 2004, she became the executive producer and host of a show on Bravo called Project Runway, in which fashion design hopefuls were presented with a variety of challenges and judged on their talent and ability, facing an elimination in every episode until a winner was crowned. The show was a huge hit, and Klum became even more of brand in and of herself.
Klum was married to celebrity hairstylist Ric Pipino in 1997, though the couple divorced in 2002. She also had a relationship with Formula One manager Flavio Briatore, and though it did not last, the couple had a daughter together, Helene (aka "Leni"). In 2005, Klum married singer and musician Seal, who raised Helene as his own along with the couple's other children. ~ Cammila Albertson, All Movie Guide

Heidi Klum Starts a Catfight Over ‘The Body’
As soon as the ads hit the airwaves, it was inevitable. Victoria’s Secret ads starring Heidi Klum introducing a new bra includes her line: “They call me ‘The Body’ — and now I have a bra named after me.”
But, wait a minute…The supermodel known as “The Body” isn’t Heidi Klum, it’s Elle Macpherson - and has been since the mid-80’s. So Macpherson and her people are understandably miffed at the misappropriation of the moniker.
I’m not an expert in the laws surrounding this sort of thing, but my layman’s take on this is that - should Macpherson decide to - she could have a decent shot at winning a lawsuit over the issue. It wouldn’t be a slam dunk though, since I don’t think she’s ever registered it as a trademark. Her use of the nickname over the years and marketing of products using that nickname would certainly establish some sort of claim that it “belongs” to her.
In any case, it was tackiness in the extreme for Victoria’s Secret to use the nickname for the new bra. Are you seriously telling me that with all the marketing geniuses they have, that this was the best they could do? The only explanation is that they knew it would make headlines and wanted to free publicity for the launch of the new line. Shame on VS for pulling such a cheap stunt to generate publicity, and shame on Heidi Klum for taking part in it…

Klum's Legs Insured For $2.2 Million
Supermodel Heidi Klum's shapely pins are insured for $2.2 million, but one leg is insured for $200,000 less than the other because of a scar.
The catwalk star's right leg is insured for $1.2 million, but the other is only insured for $1 million because of the mark on her knee.
She tells British newspaper The Sun, "They are different values because I have this little scar. I had to be examined in London. A guy came and inspected my leg."

Klum Has No Regrets About Seal Manhood Revelations.
Supermodel Heidi Klum insists she has "no regrets" about her recent appearance on the "Oprah Winfrey Show," despite talking frankly about the size of her husband Seal's manhood.
The star appeared on Winfrey's show last week, shocking viewers with her tales of the singer in tight shorts.
She told Winfrey, "I met him in a hotel lobby in New York City and he came in just from the gym and I was sitting there and I was, like, wow.
"And I pretty much saw everything. The whole package."
But Klum admits she thought her TV appearance was a success -- and credits Winfrey with luring her into a strange sense of intimacy.
She tells People, "I was very happy with how things went on Oprah. It is very strange, you trust her so much that you talk sometimes without realizing what you are saying.
"She has a spell in her eyeballs that when she looks at you, you are like 'Yes.'"
