Eva Herzigova Biography.
Demonstrating her modesty, Eva Herzigova is convinced her older sister is more beautiful than she is. The siblings were both given the opportunity to model, but only Eva took the plunge. She was born March 10, 1973, in Livinon, a mountain village in the Czech Republic. She began her modeling career after a trip to Prague led to a contest sponsored by Metropolitan Models. Six months later, the then 16-year-old flew to Paris and never looked back.
The 5'11" Herzigova called her first photo session "uncomfortable" due to her lack of experience and innocence. She didn't go to modeling school, and in her native country fashion magazines were rare so she didn't know what to expect. But these days, the supermodel prefers photo sessions to fashion shows because she enjoys being the center of attention.
In 1992, Herzigova appeared in a series of Guess? ads, and Marie Claire magazine declared her "the next Marilyn Monroe." Two years later she landed the cover of Elle magazine and became the spokesperson for Wonderbra. She has also modeled for Victoria's Secret and Sports Illustrated. Not content with posing in magazines, the model has gone on to appear in films such as Les Anges Gardiens (opposite Gerard Depardieu) and Inferno.
On a personal note, the supermodel married Bon Jovi drummer Tico Torres in 1996, but the couple split two years later. She has been linked to record executive Guy Oseary and male model Kelly Rippy. One of her favorite pastimes is riding her Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Eva became a household name after winning the Wonderbra contract, thanks to a 30ft billboard displaying her assets with the caption ‘Hello Boys’.
Five years ago she had to deny that she was taking drugs or had anorexia after pictures emerged of her looking decidedly gaunt.
She claimed she was simply neglecting to take care of herself.
With an estimated million dollar fortune now in the bank, Eva has now retired from the catwalk but continues to do magazine editorial shoots for top end designers including Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs.
